Kssbohrer took the German words selbst tragend (self-carrying) for a trademark in the form of Setra, a name formed from the first letters of those two words. This led many frequent travelers to make comparisons between the two companies and their equipment. In 1972, Bus & Car built twenty Model 09 Eagles for South African Railways.
